| C4 Combat Casualty Care Course |
Students attending C4 will attend a professional course specific to their needs. Physicians and Physician Assistants have the opportunity to receive Training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS®). The Trauma Nursing Core Course(TNCC) is open to nurses, and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is for other healthcare providers including first responders, Dentists and others.
Participants are awarded continuing education/credentials upon successful completion of the complete course. NOTE: The ATLS, TNCC and PHTLS quotas are limited; students will be assigned based on established protocol for their profession.
The professional courses are not available as stand alone courses at DMRTI. Students must be enrolled in the C4 course to take advantage of our professional courses. Students assigned must successfully complete the C4 course to receive credit for the corresponding professional course.
NOTE: THE FIRST THREE DAYS of ALL C-4 COURSES ARE USED TO TRAIN STUDENTS IN PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN TRAUMA DISCIPLINE

ORDERS ARE CENTRALLY FUNDED FOR THE ENTIRE PROGRAM. STUDENTS WHO WISH TO TAKE ONLY THE PROFESSIONAL COURSE SHOULD SEEK ANOTHER TRAINING COURSE
